Nigel Edwards KC – Nigel is going to have to find somewhere nice to stay in Preston as he has just been instructed on a 10 week trial involving Money Laundering and Conspiracy to receive stolen goods.
Jeremy Barnett – Jeremy has received new briefs into chambers this week regarding the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. James Bourne-Arton – The Wild West comes to Headingley. 21 Men were sentenced for their part in an old fashioned, wild west bar brawl at a bar in Headingley, North Leeds. James, representing one of the defendants, succeeded in keeping his client out of prison. He was instructed by Peter Minnikin from McCormicks Solicitors in Harrogate. Alasdair Campbell – Alasdair has had some fantastic new briefs into chambers this week, all instructed by the defence. A broad section of serious offending from Wounding with intent to Armed Robbery amongst other offences.

Ayesha Smart – Ayesha has been briefed to advise on a breach of the General Dental Council regulations, that is definitely something for her to get her teeth into.
Angus MacDonald – Angus has been briefed to prosecute a trial where it is alleged £300,000 has been stolen from their Employer. Andrew Stranex defends one of the accused. I for one will not be picking a side in that trial.
Richard Barraclough KC & Denise Breen-Lawton – Richard Leading Denise, are due to start this Monday in Leeds a Gangland Murder trial for the defence they are instructed by Stephen Smithson at Tates Solicitors. The alleged offence happened just off Harrogate Road, no more than 10 metres away from where I walk to and from work……I shall walk a bit faster from now on!
Sam Green KC & James Bourne-Arton – Sam Leading James, are also on Monday, due to start a Terrorism trial in Sheffield Crown Court. They are both instructed by Shazad Dad solicitors in Bradford.
