Criminal and Family Barrister, Andrew Nixon, secures not guilty verdict for man accused of physically abusing his children over a 15 year period. The alleged abuse took the form of chastisement where reasonable chastisement was no defence. During a retrial the jury returned a not guilty verdict to one count and was hung on the remaining counts. Andrew was instructed by John Ratcliffe at CLS Solicitors
Alasdair Campbell has this week been briefed to defend one of two defendants charged with S.18 Wounding. The case involves the victim being dragged along the road by a car. This case is to be heard at Bradford Crown Court.
