Emma Handley, prosecuted at Hull Crown Court this week a greedy thief who was described as “like a kid at Christmas” when he broke into a city centre phone shop and stole over £2,000 worth of stock. Richard Barraclough KC, instructed by the prosecution has secured convictions against a teenager who has been convicted of murdering a man in a row over fake banknotes that were being used in a drug deal. The murder was the result of a rivalry between two gangs in Ashford, whose members had engaged in a series of violent incidents in the weeks before the killing.
