Denise Breen-Lawton has this week had a charge of attempt murder dropped against her client. The circumstances in this case were not what you would expect from a charge of this type as the defendant was 84 and the victim was 91. It was due for trial on Monday 15th July and Denise managed to persuade the crown they had no case due to dementia of the complainant. Denise was instructed by McCormicks solicitors in Harrogate.
