Further to the recommendation made by the Judicial Appointments Commission and the approval of the President of the Family Division with the concurrence of the Lord Chancellor, I am pleased to confirm that, in accordance with Section 9(1) of the Senior Courts Act 1981 as amended by the Crime and Courts Act 2013, you have been authorised to act as a Judge of the High Court in the Family Division on the North Eastern Circuit.
