Business Regulation
St Pauls chambers specialise in advising in cases brought by the Financial Conduct Authority (The FCA), the Information Commissioner’s Office (The ICO) and the new Fundraising Regulator. These regulators are at the forefront of current regulation, where companies and individuals often require advice on emerging technologies and new business models. This is a rapidly changing landscape, where lawyers need to be at the forefront of innovation.
This is an exciting new area of regulation which St Pauls Chambers is happy to develop, together with other consultants and solicitors who specialise in this important market sector of industry laws and regulations.

Business Laws and Regulations
Business regulations are a fast moving space, especially in terms of Cryptocurrencies, Data Protection, Call Centres, Charities and other Financial products.
As business moves onto the internet, the area of cross border regulation and ‘regulatory arbitrage’ arises as businesses struggle to launch new products which fall under the jurisdiction of numerous regulators around the world, each producing their own guidance and frameworks causing uncertainty and a lack of clarity. Among the examples of this are the business laws and regulations of ICO’s (Initial Coin Offerings), where the main issue is whether or not a coin is an investment/security (i.e. regulated), or a utility token (i.e. unregulated).
