Junior Clerk
Megan Burrows joins the clerking team at St Pauls Chambers with a strong background in legal practice and case management. She began her career as a criminal injury paralegal, quickly progressing to a team leader role where she was responsible for training staff, conducting performance reviews, and overseeing team targets.
She went on to manage a substantial caseload of over 350 clients as a fee earner, handling criminal injury claims from initial instruction through to resolution. Her work included gathering and managing police and medical evidence, negotiating compensation awards, and preparing appeals up to tribunal stage. Alongside her casework, Megan completed the CILEx Certificate of Legal Practice and graduated from BPP University.
Before joining St Pauls, Megan worked as a junior clerk, specialising in Court of Protection and family law. She was responsible for diary management, liaising with clients, local authorities, and courts, and handling fee arrangements.
Megan brings with her a meticulous, client-focused approach and a valuable blend of legal and clerking experience that will strengthen and support the delivery of service across Chambers.
