Celebrating International Women’s Day 2026

Today, St Pauls Chambers proudly celebrates International Women’s Day, recognising the achievements, strength and contributions of women across our chambers and the wider legal profession.

International Women’s Day is a moment to reflect on the progress that has been made, acknowledge the challenges that remain, and celebrate the individuals who continue to inspire the next generation.

To mark the occasion, we asked some of the talented women at St Pauls Chambers a simple but powerful question:

“What would you tell your younger self?”

Their responses capture the spirit of resilience, confidence and individuality that shapes successful careers at the Bar.

From reminders to stay kind while remaining true to yourself, to recognising that difficult days are part of growth, their advice highlights the importance of perseverance and self-belief. Others reflected on the need to silence the inner critic, avoid comparing your journey to others, and create opportunities when they are not offered.

These reflections speak not only to those entering the profession, but to anyone navigating a career in law. They remind us that progress is rarely linear, and that confidence, courage and community play an essential role in professional success.

At St Pauls Chambers, we are proud to work alongside exceptional women whose expertise, leadership and dedication strengthen both our chambers and the legal profession as a whole.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate their achievements and reaffirm our commitment to supporting and empowering women at every stage of their careers.

Happy International Women’s Day from everyone at St Pauls Chambers.
