Bryan Cox KC instructed by Pepperells Solicitors to represent a mother charged with the ‘murder’ of her toddler daughter.
The unusual element of this case is that the pathologist had initially put the toddler’s death down to natural causes but some fours years later the police have charged the mother and the step father with ‘murder’.
The trial will involve complex medical issues. Bryan Cox KC will be involved in the cross-examination of some of the leading medical experts on matters of infanticide. Bryan has been chosen to represent this client because of his unrivalled knowledge and experience in homicides involving complex medical evidence.
The Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH) took place in January. The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges and the trial date is set for October 2019.
