St Pauls Chambers barrister, Bryan Cox KC, has successfully secured the dismissal of all disciplinary charges brought by the University of Oxford against 13 student protesters.
The students, affiliated with the Oxford for Palestine Movement, had staged a peaceful sit-in at the Vice Chancellor’s office, calling on the University to review its investment links with Israel. The protest formed part of a wider campaign and attracted significant attention across national and international media.
Following a two-day disciplinary hearing, the University dismissed all charges, marking a significant outcome for the students involved and a notable moment for campus protest rights.
