On Saturday 2nd November 2024, Denise Breen-Lawton KC and Gabrielle Coates, in partnership with Bridging the Bar, hosted an informative mentoring session for four aspiring barristers from underrepresented groups.
The collaborative workshop provided invaluable guidance on crafting CVs and navigating the complexities of pupillage applications. The session equipped participants with the essential tools and insights to pursue a career in the law.
This was part of St Paul’s ongoing commitment to fostering diversity within the Bar.
As part of this initiative, the students will reconvene on the 23rd November 2024 for an interactive session focusing on pupillage interviews. This session will offer practical experience through mock interviews and practice questions, helping the participants refine their interview techniques and boost their confidence.
Bridging the Bar is a charity, founded in July 2020, that aims to support aspiring barristers from a range of statistically underrepresented groups at the Bar.
