Sasha Taylor-Bolshaw

Sasha began her common law pupillage in September 2026 under the supervision of Jane Brady.

Sasha has a particular interest in both civil and criminal law.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Sasha worked as a Dispute Resolution Paralegal at Levi Solicitors LLP in Leeds where she assisted the Head of Department on complex and high-value business and property disputes. She also managed her own caseload and gained advocacy experience, appearing on behalf of clients in the County Court.

Her interest in criminal practice is reflected in her performance on the Bar Practice Course, where she achieved marks of over 80% in all criminal examinations.

She seeks to develop a broad common law practice throughout pupillage.

Sasha moved to Leeds in 2017 to undertake her undergraduate law degree and has since lived and worked in Yorkshire. She therefore has a strong connection to the region and an awareness of the local community.

Sasha graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Law before completing the Bar Course with a Master’s degree, achieving a Distinction. She was also awarded a scholarship by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.

Sasha has volunteered with a homelessness charity, where she worked with vulnerable individuals, including adults experiencing substance misuse and mental health difficulties. This experience has given her an appreciation of the challenges faced by vulnerable clients and the importance of a sensitive and practical approach to advocacy
