Represented a defendant in a multi-force investigation into a conspiracy to commit sixteen commercial burglaries across the north of England, with losses valued at over £277,000.

Currently instructed as lone junior counsel in a large-scale HMRC prosecution of 22 defendants concerning the evasion of UK duty on tobacco products valued in excess of £69 million.

Currently instructed for a section 10A participant in POCA proceedings arising from a conspiracy to produce cannabis on a commercial scale, with a total benefit figure alleged to be £9.7 million.

Currently instructed to defend in a significant Trading Standards prosecution concerning allegations of multi-platform copyright infringement with an alleged financial value exceeding £440,000.

Acted for a defendant accused of theft from an employer of over £149,000. Through detailed analysis of the financial records, Oliver identified two mutually exclusive propositions in the Crown’s case which fundamentally undermined their calculation. The defendant received a suspended sentence.
