Jessica is a tenacious advocate, with experience far beyond her call across a broad spectrum of prosecution and defence work. Jessica practices in all areas of criminal defence, with an emphasis on serious violent crime, drugs and public order offences, as well as a growing fraud practice. Jessica is known for her personable nature, attention to detail and her excellent rapport with clients. Jessica is a Grade 3 prosecutor and routinely prosecutes complex multi-handed matters.

AREAS OF PRACTICE
Serious Crime
Jessica is regularly instructed to prosecute and defend in cases involving firearms, fraud, offensive weapons, drugs, armed robbery, aggravated burglary and other serious offences.
Recent instructions include defending in a murder trial, led by Frida Hussain KC. She has successfully prosecuted a series of armed robberies committed using machetes.
Fraud and Financial Crime
Jessica is a sought-after junior. Jessica is currently instructed to prosecute a
multi-handed money laundering case, led by Frances Pencheon.
Jessica is also currently instructed on behalf of HMRC to prosecute a complex multi-handed fraud, led by Angus MacDonald.

R v Allon [2023] EWCA Crim 204 – successful appeal in relation to notification requirements
Notable Cases
R v JC & BJ (2023) – Successfully prosecuted a multi-handed armed robbery which relied on circumstantial evidence.
R v AH (2020) – Defending in a case of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, Jessica successfully argued that there was no case to answer at half-time and the jury were directed to acquit the Defendant.
