Ayman Khokhar specialises in Criminal Law and Actions Against the Police.
Ayman prosecutes and defends in the Crown Court in equal measure covering the full spectrum of criminal offences, including serious violence, robbery, theft, fraud, drugs, firearms, modern-day slavery, sexual assault, and driving matters as well as regulatory prosecutions. Ayman’s approachability and dedication to each case puts professional and lay clients at ease.
Alongside his criminal practice, Ayman represents Claimants in Actions against the Police, advising at the pre-action stage through to appearing at trial. He is known for the quality of his pleadings which often lead to settlement, his command of the law, and his composure at trial facing opponents far beyond his year of call. He has a busy paper practice but is happy to turn around instructions at short notice if required.
Before coming to the Bar, Ayman worked in public affairs, at a leading cross-party political think-tank and at a premier strategic consultancy.
