  • R v A/S ELLERINGTON (2003) (Teesside Crown Court) Successful defence. Manslaughter/Misconduct in Public Office.
  • AG's Reference No3 of 2003 (2004) EWCA Crim 868 Junior Counsel.  Leading Case on elements required for offence of Misconduct in Public Office.
  • R v J (2004) (Manchester Crown Court).  Acted for Sergeant in National Crime Squad accused of Conspiracy to transfer firearms to an informant.  Successful defence.
  • R v PENDRISS (Sheffield Crown Court).  Leading Junior for PC accused of fraudulent claims arising out of the firearm surrender scheme.  Prosecuted by Queen's Counsel.  Successful defence.
  • R v BICHARD (Sheffield Crown Court).  Acted for Inspector accused of s20 GBH (Use of Baton).  Successful defence.
  • R v JONES (York Crown Court).  Acted for PC jointly charged with Sergeant.  s20 Wounding.  Successful defence.

  • R v YARWOOD (Caernarfon Crown Court).  Misconduct in Public Office DC accused of supplying drugs to an Informant.  Successful defence.
  • R v IONS (Teesside Crown Court).  ABH/Common assaults on 3 detailed persons.  Successful defence.
