Simon regularly gives seminars and lectures to solicitors, barristers and outside audiences particularly health and safety professionals. Chaired, "Fraud in the Recession and the Changing Response of the Authorities" in October 2009. Recent examples of lectures include: Principles of Cross-Examination in Civil Cases; Corporate Manslaughter – Where You Stand (Health and Wellbeing at Work Conference 2009); Restrictive Covenants and Drafting to make them Stick (Seminar for Solicitors, February 2009); Directors Duties (Sheffield Law Society, March 2010).
